Kendo is a traditional form of Japanese Budo (martial art) and is based on the key principles of swordsmanship, etiquette and disciplines as practiced by the Samurai of Japan.

This forms part of the warm up and helps to develop strength in the shoulders and relax the body

Learn to attack your opponent whilst they too are attempting to attack you
Use what you've learnt in the class and put it into practice
